Alpine Runners Group Runs:
Tuesday Evening Runs (5.25 miles)
When: All year long, Tuesdays at 6:00pm (Some meet at 5:30pm for an extra 3 miles around the lake)
Where: Paulus Park - 200 S. Rand Rd., Lake Zurich just about ¼ mile north of Rt. 22 on Rand Rd. (U.S. Rt. 12).- we will run in North Barrington in the Biltmore subdivision. This is a hillier route and a great workout! We often meet at Tacos el Norte afterwards for Taco Tuesday!
Distance: 5 mile loop for all speed levels.

Note: 5K Program Participants will meet at 5:30pm on Tuesdays during training program dates.
Wednesday Evening Runs (6 miles)
SPRING & SUMMER:
When: First Wednesday in May until early September, 6:00pm
Where: Cuba Marsh - meet in the parking lot off the Cuba Rd. entrance just west of Ela Rd.
Distance:3, 4, or 6 miles at all levels!
FALL & WINTER:
When: Early September through end of April, 6:00pm
Where: Paulus Park
Distance: 6 miles through Old Mill Grove and back.

Thursday RAW (Run Around Wauconda) Evening Runs (4 miles)
When: All year long on Thursdays at 6pm.
Where: Bulldogs in Wauconda
Distance: 4 miles around Bangs Lake
Note: We may change route when the streets are snow covered. Please watch announcements for any location changes.
Saturday Morning Runs (4-12 miles supported by water and Gatorade at miles 3, 5, 7, and 9)
When: All year long! Saturdays at 7:00 am
Where: Lake Zurich High School lower parking lot.
Distances: 4 miles (around the lake) to 6.0, 8.0, 10.5, 12.0, 15.0, up to 22 miles just before the Chicago marathon.
Paces: We have a number of different groups running from 6.5 to 12.0 minute miles and even walk/run. So there's a distance and speed for almost everyone.
This event has been going on for over 20 years now, and there are almost always runners present. There is also a group of walkers joining the Saturday morning workouts.
Water and Gatorade are generally available at the miles 3, 5, 7, and 9. Additional aid stations are often set up at 11, 14, 17 and 19 during the Chicago Marathon training season.
